Project Statement

The success of the boutique will depend on overcoming several key challenges. These include things like navigating regulatory and permitting requirements, including zoning laws and alcohol production regulations, which will be essential for compliance. Sustainability is another priority for this hotel, requiring eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient systems, and responsible waste management without compromising luxury. Financial feasibility is also a major factor, as developing both a boutique hotel and a fully operational gin distillery requires careful budgeting and investment planning.

Concept Statement

This boutique hotel seamlessly blends London Contemporary Chic with the timeless glamour of Art Deco, infused with royal British opulence. Modern, minimalist furniture in neutral tones meets high-end materials like marble, glass, and polished metal, while bespoke furnishings and statement lighting create a refined atmosphere. Bold jewel-toned accents add vibrancy. Inspired by historic London hotels like The Savoy and The Ritz, the Art Deco Glamour influence features geometric patterns, gilded mirrors, brass, and velvet, evoking 1920s elegance. Iconic curved furniture, scalloped details, and opulent chandeliers enhance the grandeur, offering guests a luxurious escape that merges classic sophistication with modern British style.

Take a peak inside the space. This project was an exciting one, I have not done anything quite like it before. It challenged me to embrace the English history while still designing a space that feels luxurious, additionally bringing in modern elements throughout the space.
